Perhaps it is because I have been spending so much of my "spare time" on my miniature house lately (more about that in a future blog), or maybe it is my three-year-old grand daughter's fascination with fairies and princesses--she informed me that toadstools do not serve as dining tables for the creatures, as I had suggested, but there are invisible doors in their stems and the fairies live inside.
For whatever reason, I couldn't help noticing these tiny bits of color pushing up the leaf mold of our path this week
I have posted pictures of my time in the Brecon Beacons, South Wales, on my flickr page. It was an exhilarating time walking with my friend Liz and picking up tidbits to enrich my work in progress set in the area.
