I did it. I finally posted the book trailer for my YA novel Crossovers on YouTube. Haven't heard of a book trailer? It's kind of like a movie trailer--a short video designed to make you want to read the book. Some of them are major productions from big-budget publishing houses that dramatize short scenes. Others are low key, made with stock photos and public domain music.
“Trust without knowing” is a challenge. That is the definition of trust, as my American friend in Pakistan writes. If we knew how the story turns out, it wouldn’t be trust. Of course, we DO know how the story turns out: the Lord returns to save his people and restore creation to what he originally intended. We just don’t know how our little piece of the story will turn out. That’s where trust comes in. Moment by moment. Day by day. In America or in Pakistan.

The last couple blogs have been pre-scheduled. You aren’t supposed to announce on the Internet that you are away from home, your husband off in Africa and your house standing empty waiting to be cleaned out by some unscrupulous reader. But I was in COLORADO for my nephew’s wedding. (CONGRATULATIONS STUART AND EMILY!!!)
