The Almighty

Whether it is removing a dictator or changing the heart of a difficult boss, healing a dreaded disease or giving you the strength to live with the pain, there is nothing too difficult for our God. As you meditate on these verses, praise him for the ways in which you see the same power that raised Christ from the dead at work in your life today.

Is anything too hard for the LORD? Genesis 18:14a

He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed,
miracles that cannot be counted. Job 9:10

Who has gone up to heaven and come down?
Whose hands have gathered up the wind?
Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak?
Who has established all the ends of the earth?
What is his name, and the name of his son?
Tell me if you know! Proverbs 30:4

Your right hand, LORD,
was majestic in power.
Your right hand, LORD,
shattered the enemy. Exodus 15:6a

Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power
and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is yours. 1 Chronicles 29:11a

No one is like you, LORD;
you are great,
and your name is mighty in power. Jeremiah 10:6

The LORD does whatever pleases him,
in the heavens and on the earth,
in the seas and all their depths. Psalm 135:6

Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you. Jeremiah 32:17

He made the earth by his power;
he founded the world by his wisdom
and stretched out the heavens by his understanding.
When he thunders, the waters in the heavens roar;
he makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth.
He sends lightning with the rain
and brings out the wind from his storehouses. Jeremiah 51:15-16

We eagerly await a Savior from [heaven], the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. Philippians 3.20b-21

Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26

[His] power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead. Ephesians 1:19b-20a

After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting: "Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God.” Revelation 19:1
